Hey guys!

Creating a storyline and characters is pretty difficult to do. I even have troubles.

A storyline is the most important part to your RPG. Before you start creating the world and characters, always know what your RPG is about. Having a basic idea of the plot will make it possible to create everything else. The storyline should include things such as date and time(season) of the event. Your storyline can be anything; car races, sword fighting, spying, or just a normal soap opera based story
Once you have the idea in your head you need to think of a world. The world can be anywhere/anything. Your world ALWAYS depends on the type of storyline you have. If your storyline is about dinosaurs it's not recommended to have the world based on the future. The world isn't exactly a whole world you need to think of, it can be countries, cities/towns, or planets.

The last part to your RPG is always the hardest; creating characters. Your character/characters like the world, must revolve around the storyline. You can base your character on anything/anyone. Depending on what your storyline is, your character can be an already existing person. It's not really recommended to use celebrities/movie characters in your RPG, but it is allowed ... to a point.

The important features of your character have to follow the description posted below. Always fill out the chart or something similar to it. Adding things like physical appearance can help everyone get a view of your character when they read along.

Last but not least, writing your storyline. When it comes time to start your storyline always tell us if the story can be played by other characters. Since you created the world, you can make the rules, such as the killing/playing of others' characters, destroying places in the world, being reincarnated, and so on.

The tips mentioned above are just some heads up to get you to create a 'perfect' RPG. More then one person can work on the RPG.

Please feel free to post a topic about needing help or wishing to create a storyline/world with others.
Character information chart
Name: Can be anything, no numbers please and don't make it complicated
Gender: Male, female & unknown (in case you choose to be a monster)
Age: Any age is fine, but no one should be immortal
Type of person: Monster, warrior, transformer, wizard, human, robot, animal, etc. You are allowed to have up to three different characteristics!
Character info: Describe the characteristics & properties of your character (as wizard you can spell, as transformer you can transform to another creature, etc.)
Physical Appearance: What is your character wearing? Describe colors, materials and weapons/gadgets (if any). Also describe the exact personal appearance such as hair, scars, ears, piercings, etc.
Personality: Is your character nice, mean, greedy? Tell me what kind of person he/she is.
Job: If you're character has a job state what it is.

* Note No mayors, presidents, evil lords, etc. *
History: State the history of your character. Where he/she was born, when, why he/she is like the way he/she is now, your Alliance, background history of your family, and so on.
