This is the best board/forum I have ever been to, I admire and respect it. Your board is a model of high integrity and discipline. How did your forum start? How has it grown into such a massive conglomerate of net traffic and trading destinations? I was looking into the various banned user sections, and in total there are more banned users than I have signed up at my site, WOW, that is an astonishing thing;Incredible and terrible at the same time. As I am a newbie here, would anyone that has helped construct this great forum be willing to give me some pointers?

Hi!
RealPoor began as a community for EverQuest players mostly. Later WoW came and as forum was growing, new features have been added: General section, FF and other games forums, Real world discussion,...
New management took over the board more than year ago and our vision was to build this place as unique and biggest trading MMORPG place... Well, biggest... We can dream right? But we have all what is needed to fulfill that: 'fertile ground' and a lot of new members registering with each day.
Regarding banned members. Well, there will always be those who like to break rules, both written and non written. Yes there is too many banned, but compare them with number of registered users and you'll see it's not so bad.
For your board, I can say only this: Vision is the most important. What you want to made of your place. Content as well, which will bring members to your forum.
A lot of patience above all, because nothing comes over night, yet by help of lot of a hard work.
