(1) Is most everything that you do solo, or is there alot of group/social aspects to the game?
(2)is it a complete level grind? You know. the kind you get bored of in 3 hours?
(3)What's the high end game like?

level grind gets old quick that's why I have so many characters. I prefer soloing for exp usually depending on my class/combo. Unless the group really has their shit together which is VERY rare. Highest I've been is 29 or so, so I dunno what the high end is like, I would imagine the same as the low end with different mob types that hit harder.

oh, kinda read that wrong too.. Not quite sure what your saying. Are you saying you do create new characters because the level grind sucks? Or are you saying there is no level grind, therefore you make more characters?

i make more because the level grind sucks. every time people find a way to make quick exp it gets nerfed from all the whiners who can't do the same thing :p

I don't think of it as a level grind. Basically the point of the game is to kill the bad guys and get more super powers...So if you don't like the idea of killing the bad guys, then you probably won't like 50% of the game.
The best part is that you can move at your own pace. Instead of just aimlessly running around killing stuff (which you can do if you prefer), you can go on missions, which are like quests in EQ. I almost always play solo, so if I want to log off in the middle of a mission, I can and it's waiting for me when I get back on. It really depends on what class you pick whether you can solo or not. This game is much better for a more casual player.
My highest is only 10, so I can't really tell you about the high end game.

Yeah... it was a good game before the 200 person hamidon raids and all of the nerfing that should have been taken care of in beta. Where do they hire their in house beta testers from? or do they even have any.

well in MMORPG's i'm all about the social aspect...and if it has none, I guess i'll pass on playing it. *sigh* I quit EQ...what to do till WoW...what...to...do?!

I play the game with friends. I find it quite a bit of fun. If you change your mind, then ensure you go to a server where you have some friends already playing. That helps. Eventually you still meet new people and enjoy the game.

Basically it's as social as you want it to be. Like Kely said, I only hang out with people I already know, but I have no desire to meet new people. So when I play, I team up with my friends from RL or EQ (like Vila) and we run around and kill stuff and I die alot and then Vila laughs at me.
Ususally when you're running around killing stuff people will just randomly invite you to their team, or ask if they can join yours. Of course, I don't want to hang out with anyone new, so I just act crazy until they go away. Then Vila laughs some more.
So you see, it all depends on you. You can try and be social and meet new people, or you can be a reclusive snob like me! If you do decide to play, look me up...my name is Daisy Dukes.

I duo with themy sometimes, but I like soloing on my tanker because half the people in the game appear to be complete idiots who are stuck in elementary school mode :/

Friends are the only way to go from what I have seen thusfar. soloing is fun too. Sometimes it is nice to just go solo and deal with no one.

I was a necro on EQ...Soloing almost runs through my blood. One of the main reasons I quit EQ, was because I was sick of soloing, and I could never find groups, and despite the fact that my guild broke up and we didn't raid anymore.

its funny she dies then i give her a rez... she stands up and mobs come after and and she falls right back down.

Yall need to quit screwing around on high population servers, come to Champion. Less people and I am in a 20+ SG that likes to have fun. Each night we take turns running missions for people. we do about 5 a night. Most of us are 30+ now so it's a lot of fun.
