Should I bother, or will most apps not run under a 64bit platform...
Games, MS office, etc.
Most of my hardware has 64bit drivers.
I would assume 32 wouldn't work on 64, but they did have some 16bit emulators which allowed old apps to work in winXP.
Ideas?

Most driver issues with XP64 have been resolved. The only major issue known is with cam drivers. I've been using XP64 for 10 months now, and wouldnt go back to 32 bit. Everything, including 32 bit apps, are faster. If you are truly interested, check out www.planetamd64.com forum. All the info you will need is there.

If you don't know if you should or not, you probably shouldn't spend the money.
