When planning future projects or attempting to really push the technology of the RuneScape game, we often come across the same problem: we have no information about everyone's computer hardware. With this kind of information, we could release more RuneScape improvements that make the best use of your system's capabilities.
We have come up with a solution that we'd like you to help us with. We have developed a program that, once downloaded, will tell us the following things about your computer:
Your operating system
Your graphics card
Your CPU
Your Java version
Relevant graphical and audio drivers
Once we've gathered together all of this information, we can begin planning our future projects and RuneScape improvements to work within these specifications. This means that very few people will miss out on some awesome updates that we have planned!

This possibly means that they are going to crank up the system, give us more polygons and less crap, and pretty much get better.
Runescape is going to be very competitive with wow soon. <3 england <3.

I downloaded the application they wanted ... Kinda didn't want to, I mean like, what if they SAY it's to help but really it's for searching through your computer to see what you go on ... Oh well

I dont think that this will work most of the people that still play dont play as much as they use to.. even when WoW came out I stuck with RS for the longest time getting my account far... But them 3 updates ruined that game.... this is prolly there way to try and save there asses!

I saw this lol.
This isn't runescape 3 is it?
RS2 Graphic change? No download necessary? That'll be amazing literally.
Most games you need a download. They have some requirements though. If its online it'll be sick. If download - There will be hacks for sure.
