the reasoning behind the Aztec:
have you ever driven one?? they're wonderful on the road, a TON of driver/passenger/cargo room not to mention folding the rear seats down is easy. It handles smoothly, excellerates better than any 6cyl I've driven before, gets great milage for the size, seriously more comfortable then the Rendevous (buick's version of the same vehicle)
Remember I'm 6'2", my kids aren't small either, 12 yr old is already 5'7" and 9 yr old is 4'8" room is a huge issue for us if we're all traveling together. Draggyn thought it was about the ugliest thing he'd ever seen, till he sat in a Honda Element. Then he rode in it...now he loves it too.
I'm up high enough that I don't have to stoop getting in or out, I can see clearly when driving and I know exactly where the rear and front end is at all times.
Add to all that the way cool tent thingy for the rear hatch and the other cool toys I can get, I'm a happy camper.
and the number one reason I love this car???
Even the weekend before Christmas, in the parking lot of The Woodbridge Mall I had NO problems finding it among a million other cars *grin*

Whether you think anyone cares is irrelevant.
I want things this way because there's no need to make this thread 30 pages long.
People should be able to easily read all the bios without having to sift through worthless crap.
