Maybe i'm just being nostalgic, but I really miss the old realpoor. Abiworld, VNboards...those used to be fun places. Most of the friendly and funny people have left, leaving a mostly worthless husk of humanity that couldn't do a crossword sensibly, much less talk about worthwhile subjects in an intelligent discussion. Now we have shitheads like Zonk who can't let anyone have an opinion different from his. "This is my opinion!" - Zonk. "Well this is my opinion!" - Someone else.
"f**k you idiot bitchlips fuckhole, you suck and so does your idiot family for your opinion." -zonk. Or whoever is masquerading as Zonk.
But it's not just zonk. The quality has just gone down. It's like the milk s sour but ya can't quit drinking it. I think we just got an influx of 12 year olds, or maybe a bunch of losers with the mentality of 12 year olds and they have no f*****g life but to sit here and bash other people. It's just sad. I miss the old days. I miss FireisFun Typing Like This All The Time. I miss Khrath when we didn't know he was an animaniac. I even miss Vekrils tired tirades about stupid shit. I miss Zoetrope  Abibabi gabi wabi etc. Where has all the intelligence gone? The humor??
Anyone else feel like it's Jr. High time again and you can't get out from between the fat kid being insulted by the stupid redneck or the loud wetback talking shit about the black kid in the front row? What the f**k is wrong with people that can't say one g*****n nice thing about anyone? What the f**k kind of life do you live? If you are sitting at a computer flaming someone for an opinion different than yours, DAY AFTER DAY, you need to eat a lead sandwich because your life is not going to get any better.
Course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
ps. that's not a personal attack on Zonk btw. Just used you as an example.

Or maybe it's just because i had a REALLY s****y day and got tired of being insulted by wetbacks that think i don't speak spanish, being whitey, and can say what they want. No offense to the hispanics or mexicans out there.

I agree.
However, I'm getting pretty sick of these kind of whines. Even though I feel the same about RP at times, I don't blame others for my boredom or annoyance. I chose to come here. If you don't like this place anymore, and don't have any solution to offer, then leave. I would if it got to me this much.
I consider myself as one of the people that contribute at least some of the so-called 'intelligent' arguments, funny threads and just some of the great interactions that happen here. Yes, there are people that detract from that, but just lumping everyone on the same heap gets old too. Some of the intelligence and humor is still here, there are just less people posting overall.
Don't idealize the other boards - the idiots were there too, but people were still playing EQ, and still interested in the board that arose around it. The TM Board evolved, like everything else. Things aren't the same as they used to be, and they never would have been either, had we still had Abiworld. Lots of people just left the community, and not because of recent morons, but because they got a life/went to another game/quit gaming/had babies (sound familiar?) or whatever.
I'm sick of people who think by b******g about RP they are contributing anything. Sab, I love ya, nothing personal, but I would like to challenge everyone that's saying these kind of things - and apparently they care enough to come here and b***h - to put their money where their mouth is and offer us a better alternative.
