I dont care what you say about Kerry , he served in Vietnam he has the right to speak out against it.
I dont see how republicans can look at his service in Vietnam so light-heartedly, and call him a coward.
The man was in f*****g VIET NAM! Not doing keg stands, or running daddy's business , f*****g VIETNAM!!!!!!!!
OK, take your worst day ever, and multiply it by 100, thats what it must have been like.
Additionaly, its not like Kerry whimped out and came home. He voulenteered to spend 4 months in VIETNAM (once again not a fun place to be), risk being shot every day, aaaaand was shipped home because he was SHOT.
I dont know how many people here have been shot on this board, but I can imagine its not f*****g fun!
Gotta give kerry some credit for that.

Im watching the press conferance for swiftboats. Its a joke, they are all reading a scripts (or at least trying to , they keep stuttering).
I love when they called him "a loose cannon". Rock and roll man, so was spider man according to the king pin!
I dont know, I just keep thinking how s****y the both the choices for president are in America, both are wankers!

The experiences in Vietnam varied greatly. There were some who had journalism jobs (like Gore) who basically sat comfortably in a tent, all the way up to McCain, who had bamboo shoved underneath his fingernails as the Vietcong spat on him. Kerry's was closer to the former. He was at risk of seeing significant danger, but wound up self-inflicting a wound (by his own admission!) before he did.

These guys have some pretty good points, and I really like the fact that they don't support a certain political party.
I honestly think both Candidates are horrible, but if they were put on a scale, I'd choose Kerry. But it doesnt matter, cuz im in Canada, and I cant vote in America anyways!

If you are ever lucky enough to visit America, just be sure to use the water fountains and restrooms marked "Canadian". We don't want to use the same plumbing as you ingrates.
