General liberal views as follows;

We care about the environment

Corporations are corrupt

Some people are just too wealthy...

Why then, are the highly liberal concentrated areas, large cities example: New York, L.A. , etc....

These cities create large amounts of pollution, home to numerous large corporations, as well as infested by wealthy citizens.

Whereas what is commonly refered to as "fly over country" would seem like the ideal place for them, like one of the Dakotas.

well, it might have something to do with the fact that when you live in a big city you see the effects of pollution and corporation and wealthy people everyday, whereas in "fly over country" you dont see many corporations or wealthy people or pollution.

cities are were many poorer people tend to live.

Aren't liberals usually voted into power over these cities? Still they stay the same though.

I'm not individually labeling you though, or any other individual. Infact, that's not the point at all. What I 'm saying is, these large cities are KNOWN for there liberal population. Big cities seem like the last place they would want to be considering their political and environmental views. Are you saying this is not true?

not everything is cut and dry.

im pretty sure rudy giuliani is a republican and you cant get much more republican than bloomberg.

cities are were things happen, people congregate, ideas are exchanged. obviously it is the best place for those who desire change to gather.

I know it's not as cut and dry as that. Just food for thought I suppose.

Vengar's got a poor argument here for the most part, as it's a bit of a stretch.

However, the one part of it I do find commical is how concerned liberals are with the environment, yet like Vengar said, many live in the city and never even venture out into the wildnerness that they so passionately protest to protect.

Well, it's not something I was carving into stone. I was just thinking about this stuff, in general.

Why certain areas will always vote a certain way, if you're an environmentalist, think corporations are evil, and people flauting their cash while across the street a homeless is begging for food disgust you, a city just seems the least likely place you would want to be.
