Haha, *FINALLY* exalted my Thunder Bluff faction. 530 stacks of runecloth later... jesus christ did that take a lot of time and $$ to do.
Oh, and here. The kodo's actually smaller than normal. Here's the Tauren kodo to compare.

I heard a rumor that Night Elves can't ride Mechanostriders. Is this true. If it is f**k it, no point in trying to get my faction up. Rams and horses are stupid.

yeah, as of right now Tauren can't ride anything. It'll possibly change with the coming patch... possibly.
A tauren on a giant Raptor would look pretty funny though i wouldn't mind a giant undead horse.
Hey, I have a great idea, lets make a race of big cow people, and give them the ability to run really fast. Ok, sounds good. WAIT! Some people complain... Ok what do we do... Well lets remove the run fast ability and umm... give them a Kodo? yea yea its not a racial ability, but its... different!
Oh, another great idea! Lets make it to where people can get favor and get other races mounts! Hell yes! That will kick more a*s the ninjas! Wait... Remember those cow people? Lets make it to where they cant get any other races mounts! Great idea! Its like we gave them something and then we took it away and gave it to everyone except them! HELL YES

I know they can ride horses cause I seen a tauren on the epic undead horse.

Actually mount changing has been in for a long time now, it was just never very easy or realistic to accomplish.

Dont matter it is still a horse, and it shows that they can ride something other than Kodos. The graphics are there and if you too want to spend the time to work your faction up can also ride one. Why you would want to ride one as a Tauren is beyond me. It looks so out of place it wasnt funny.

Actually they just somewhat recently made it able to do. You previously didnt have the ability to get exalted status until the last patch or the one prior to it.
And omol, its not that I WANT to ride a horse. Its that tauren had a racial ability that they removed, gave us kodos and said yay grats. And no anyone can ride our kodos.
I know that, but it still dont mean anything. They change their mind on stuff left and right. The whole issue with the kodo thing was the size, but somewhere between the implementation of the honor system and the exhaulted status change (the patch that made it easier to get, or hell prolly even before that) they decided against it. I too remember Blizzard saying that it was going to be for Tauren only, then they release the PvP mounts and say that anyone can use them.

And also, even if a tauren obtained exalted status we cannot use the undead horse. I am pretty sure we cant use any races mounts. Total BS. Just give me back my plain striding pls!
Why would you do this? You'd be more productive if you used all of that time masterbating or chewing your fingernails!
