Id be skeptical about how it would turn out if it were not for the director of shrek being involved...that series was great stuff, even with the heavy Christian overtones.

I could NEVER finish that first book when I had to read it for school, it was just so boring. I think I tried reading it like five times.

yeah CS Lewis was a theologian or something like that along with being an english teacher. Doesn't change the fact that the stories owned.

christian undertones? Hell, I read it as a kid and didn't even see that at all heh. I guess that's why I enjoyed them so much. The world is much nicer to live in and more exciting when you don't understand half of what's really going on.

How could you not see it, especially in the first of the series?
It was standard reading material in most all Christian schools.
