The way of living in the US is great but other countrys have their own perks . I think European countrys do just fine compared to all the b******t the United States deals with and the standard of living which is the outcome of all the b******t we create for ourselves. They just sit back and observe in a sense and watch the US be police man.. You might call that riding on the coatails of the US ... I think its them being smart more then anything. And they way they benefit from being smart is the way they live.... worry free. |
But we don't police the entire globe....The only countries we directly involve ourselves with are troubled nations, in most cases nations hostile towards ourselves or another nation. We keep a balance in the world. The biggest mis-understanding is that the US is the only country doing this. There are many other allies that do the exact same thing. You just don't hear about it because the US has a considerably larger military force than any of the others. So in the end, all eyes fall on America.
Don't forget the japanese attacked us first back in WW2. Iraq invaded Kuwait before we went in. US Embassy's have been targeted in the past numerous times. and need I bring up 9-11? If Iraq or any of these other aggressive countries had the upper hand and the tables were reversed, they would ruthlessly slaughter America. Thankfully that's not the case, and hopefully will never be the case. The point im making is that we police certain nations because if we didn't...attacks would happen...alot more. Maybe not on a pearl harbor/9-11-01 scale of attack, but I guarantee you it would happen alot more frequently than they do now.

Kuwait was part of Iraq before they separated. The reason for separation was so that Oilers could have more control over their oil.

Adapting is one thing, having your legs cut from under you is another. This isn’t a Demo vs. Repub issue, all people have been effected by this.
It’s easy to say train, learn new skills, go back to school, but do you think the company will care even if you get another degree if you still want more than what an Indian would work for?
Hell I learned about this as a teen, I was 16, by then I had work experience at the airport in Chicago and various food and factory jobs all in good standing.
I went to office depot which was 1 block from my home, I worse dress pants and shirt and a tie. I was clean and spoke well and filled out the application in full.
I spoke to the manager, good interview, I made a point to speak about a few topics to let him know I wasn’t just a dumb teen, I told him I was in school but could work anytime after school and weekends.
He thanked me and said he is reviewing all the applications and will call me. He asked me to put my applications on the table with the others and I did so.
When I went to the table, I saw a few applications, one stuck out. It was a Mexican man, only one job listed which was a janitor. He was applying for cashier.
He put he can work any hours, now the minimum wage at the time was $4.25 he put will work for $3 per hour. He also wrote in the comment section, he will work overtime at normal pay if need be.
Needless to say I knew I was beat and sure enough no call came. Well I took a job delivering food, the paid five bucks an hour plus two bucks a trip and all tips were mine.
About two weeks later I go back to Office depot and the Mexican guy got the job, not as cashier, they had white females do that but every other worker was Mexican well except for management.
Point is you can’t beat someone who is willing to work for way less than you and more hours. Again look at what was said five or six Indians in one house.
You think you can find 6 friends to work with you at that pay and make a living? Even education won’t stand up to that.
