I was talking to a sergent who just came back from Iraq today. He is a sharp black guy about 30 years old. He said that many of the People in Iraq hailed The Americans as saviors because it is written in the Koran
as follows
"A great Eagle will come from the West and Save us from our opression and Religious Peril"
Take that as you will but I think it is more than a mere coincidence that there would be a passage in their most holy of books saying that.I personally had never heard that passage before but the liberal media and the Arab elites that are in power have tried to play that down alot.
This just re-affirms that we are right and the world will eventually see it. Flame me if you wish. These people are tired of their lives and want to be free he said. They want to know about all of our religious freedoms too even to be Anagnostic if they choose. He said some guys handed out little aerabic bibles by the dozens and people were mauling each other to get them.
Also they loved magazines with images like people, Time and others with pictures give these people hope of better things in life.
Now all the losses we have had are terrible and many of Mark's friends have died or been wounded but he said that seeing these people have hope is worth the ultimate sacrafice for the better of these people and mankind.
He also said that he thinks we might have misjudged some things about Iraq but that he has a firm beleif that we did the right thing from the beginning. He said some of the translators talked to many Iraq's and said how some of their families had been dragged out and tortured and never seen again by Saddam's Regime and that they could not tell anyone what happened but now that they had hope even though things were not perfect yet they know that they could change the future of their country.
This is just something i thought i would share with you because it really touched me and gave me more hope as a civilian of how things are going n Iraq on a well informed basis. i wish we would hear more things like this more often instead of how bad our country is and how bad we messed up.

the real version says pretty much the same thing. Anyway the people are beleiveing it that we are the eagle or pilgrims and we are there to help them and we will cleanse the land.
The Elite in power fear this that is why they are fighting it so hard.
Im glad if we put that propoganda up compared to the propoganda they have against us it is very tame.

there is no "Eagle" in the real version they either started that or we did but that is what they are saying now. In the real version we are Peagans which probobly turned into monsters which probobly turned into eagles.

Qur'an 9:11 says something completely unrelated to the apparently invented "quotation" that you received. I quote the Yusufali translation below from my website (www.wright-house.com/religions/islam/) of not only Surah 9 Ayah 11, but also of the surrounding Ayat (9-13). I also can't find anything remotely like that "quotation" anywhere else in the Qur'an.
In fact, what 9:11 says is that all those who repent, pray, and engage in charity are brothers in faith. The Qur'an recognizes the religious that worship God (that were present in that part of the world at that time--Jews, Christians, Sabians), and says their adherents will be saved (2:62 and 5:69).
According to a searchable database created by the Muslim Students Association at the University of Southern California (http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/reference/searchquran.html), the word "eagle" does not appear ANYWHERE in the Qur'an in ANY of the three translations that they provide (Yusufali, Pickthal, and Shakir).
Sometimes finding a reference in a translated work is a matter of alternate translations of key words. American symbolism holds the eagle to be noble and lofty (though Benjamin Franklin didn't want the national bird to be an eagle, because it was "a Bird of bad moral Character.") The symbolic significance of the eagle was not the same in all times and places. I never "prepped" myself with alchohol and cocaine. I have done it before when i was younger wilder, sorry i actually had fun when i was a kid unlike you.
Those days are over but what i said was the combination of Alchohol and Cocaine will make you fight better is the truth. Research the effects of both the drugs and if you have never taken them then dont act like you f*****g know what your talking about.
