i heard of a college course .. not sure if its here or not .. but they play that episode in it
i took a course called Minds and Machines and they played Measure of a Man and other episodes like that and focused on Data
i saw a flyer up on campus and it was like "COMMANDER DATA, a lecture on artifical intelligence" and it looked pretty professional too lol

I miss TNG and DS9
The new one isn't catching my attention very well. |
Her voice matured.. I used to hate her voice at first also but she loosened up bigtime. By the end of the series she was doing the Katherine Hepburn flawlessly.

I have a fantasy involving Capt. Janeway. I appreciate strong women.

Haha.. Janeway flattens everyone in her path. You don't f**k with Janeway. She made the Borg her b***h. The Delta Quadrant was her playground. She went where no man has gone before, and where no man will ever follow.
edit actually I don't know if Picard ever got promoted.. I don't think he did.

captain picard didnt want to be a stuck up desk job of an admiral
they were all like "shit we need you"
and he was like "hah, like hell you do"
captain of the flagship > all
he didnt want to get promoted ... he more than easily could have if he wanted to
(ie, janeway is like "picard we need you to do this" and picard is like "lol yeah, ill do that, if i feel like it, im f****n captain picard")

Well you both split your infinitives. Just like Picard, ironically! "To boldly go..."

Yeah the darmok dictionary has been around for a long time. There are quite a few out there.
People are awesome.
I remember i found it like three years ago, and my nerdy trekky friends were all excited about it and for MONTHS they would use darmok to communicate.
if they were leaving, instead of goodbye they'd say "Mirab, his sails unfurled" or sometimes just "Mirab"
or if we'd be playing video games like mario kart and someone crashed, they'd be all like "ZINDA!"

You have just become infinitely cooler in my eyes. And your image was already quite up there.

Capt. Froggy is the poster girl for 'kids, don't smoke.'
Voyager was actually OK for awhile, until it became the Janeway and 7 of 9 show.

Voyager wasn't really the best. Anyways, Kirk>Picard, except for in Generations where he wanted to be the little b***h that sat around and Picard begged him for help.

Capt. Kirk was good at beating up people and getting laid, but he wasn't as smart or benevolent as Capt. Picard!
Anyway, choose which character you hated the most:
1. Worf's son, Alexander
2. Dr. Polaski
3. Those lame American Indian aliens that Wesley Crusher liked that wouldn't leave the planet even though it belonged to the f*****g Cardassians. f**k them, and f**k Chakotay.

It's more painful to watch episodes with Dr. Polaski in them than watching the end of Star Trek: Nemesis was.
