Here is a comment that she made to me just before the Mtrix reloaded was released *while we saw the preview before a movie*
When I wanted to go see the matrix reloaded she said ? OMG No! thats the kind of movie were a guy last 2 mins in the air when he give a kick right?
Me: well yeah but the first one was pretty cool
her: No thanks I stopped watching the first one very fast way too unreal for me.
Me: can we go see it please? You can sleep on my shoulde rI dont care.
her: NO! go watch that crappy movie alone.

me:hmmm not a very realistic movie...

Id rather watch a movie like Hulk and see him trow a tank at 1 mile then see a stupid American love/drama movie...
both are for me just as unreal.
At least its cool to see a tank fly...
besides every damn romance movie is the same...a guy meets the girl s***w up she leave him and at the end she fogive him and they end up together. Funny but useally in RL when you s***w up...you end up alone and if you try too hard to get the person back you get a court papper saying to f*****g stop your harrassment.

That's why people love movies like that so much. Everyone wants to believe in a happy ending.
Most movies are summed up with one word: escapism. A lot of them are unrealistic. So what?
Most people, when they use the word 'unrealistic', just mean that they can't IMAGINE something being real...

Here is a good review of this piece of shit
I really wanted to like this film, but I found myself unable to find anything about it to recommend or like. The long gaps when the creature were not on the screen dragged by, and when the creature did appear, it was little payoff. Worse yet, I found myself wanting to leave the film before it was over and I stayed mainly out of professionalism and that is saying a lot as I have willingly sat through many a stinker in my film career.
With so much talent in the film, and the fantastic FX people at ILM, it is sad to see that something so promising went so wrong. I had hoped that with Lee helming the film, there would be many emotional segments of the struggle to contain the inner beast we all have, or an emotional tug of war blended with gripping action. Sadly there was neither, and as a result, "Hulk" is little more than a bloated production that is soulless and empty.

I can't stand it when people find something negative to say about every movie they watched. Would it be so horrible if you actually just sat down and enjoyed a movie? That's what you went to the theatre for right? So you could tell one scene was CGI or the actors aren't going to win any oscars, or some of it wasn't believable....stfu and quit your bellyachin. Some movies really are bad, but most of them are at least enjoyable to watch and listening to somebody gripe about a movie is never enjoyable.
This isn't directed towards Mael's GF, just a general pet peeve of mine.
If after every movie you see you only want to talk about how it was a waste of money and whine about the parts you didn't like, that means you are NO FUN to hang around with and I would really prefer to go to a movie ALONE than go to one with you and listen to you complain all the way home. Damn whiney annoying b***h, whoever you are!

I thought it looked bad, based on the previews, but it actually got good critical reviews. Everyone seems to say it sucks, so now I'm torn. I might go see it, if I'm bored this weekend.

If those bastards are gonna charge like 8 bux to see it plus 4 bux for a popcorn and 3 bux for a drink it better be worth it.

I agree with Majy here. How can you honestly say this? Of course people are going to say things suck and the such. Some of the shit out of hollywood is terrible, it isn't as if you actually go to a flick saying hey let's go spend coin on this because it is going to f*****g suck and we have nothing better to do!?!? Of course not that is dumb.
But honestly some of the stuff out there today is BEYOND terrible and if it means 1 less person put hard earned money towards the b******t out there my work is done.
Hell The Hulk specifically has already made millions alone off the advertising and toys and shit/licensing. Nobody needs toos ee 95% of the movies out there

It only got tepid reviews in the papers here. It could've been worse, I suppose, but Ang Lee did absolutely nothing with the story or characters.

Note the repeated use of the phrase every movie in my post. I swear some people go to movies assumin that they're gonna suck and then spend the whole show looking for things to back up their assumption.
If a movie was really bad then say "that was lame" and get over it. Last thing I need after watching a crappy movie is to listen to somebody whine about it afterward.
