For the past week, four F-18s have been flying over my house once about every two hours, and right now there's two of them going f*****g crazy over my house...just saw one of them go into full afterburner and go into a vertical climb. So, I have come to the conclusion that terrorists must love Baton Rouge, and that they're flying a patrol of some sort.
Also, F-18s at full throttle + low level = very loud.

maybe if they broke the sound barrier right over his house
depends on altitude too

I've seen a couple flying near campus a bit, too.
