Since dell technical support is worthless.
I have a problem. Randomly, my computer will target desktop. I will be playing a game, and all the sudden the game minimizes or crashes, or the window im in will deselect like its not on top anymore. etc. I have run 3 different spyware programs, as well as my fully updated anti virus, and nothing. any ideas?

what AV/ASW do you run.
also, when shit starts being wacky, that's my signal to go to control panel|add remove programs, and go on an uninstall rampage and clean shit up.

My anti virus is fully updated McAfee. I use Spybot, Adaware, AND Counterspy, which is a pay for spyware program that came with my comp. The dell support guy didnt speak english.
I am checking out removing programs now, but i dont have a whole lot to remove.

k, unisntall ALL of that shit.
install the free version of AVG and M$ Anti Spyware.
Run those 2.
this will fix it.

Nope. I can leave my keyboard with a game up, come back, and itll be minimized or crashed. So I know its nothing I do.

Its more then likely an issue with Video drivers or a hidden process thats attempting to take focus away from the current program that has that main focus. I'm not aware of anything for windows but I'm sure if you google'd you'd find something that can be log running processes and also log based on certain events.
For the true tech support deal here's the questions I'd ask you:
What have you changed recently? (Software, hardware, drivers, game patches ect)
Are you running any background processes such as an instant messaging client?
Is there anything else you can think of that seems to correlate specifically happening when the game minimizes?
