Browse the site and give me ONE good reason as to why anyone should buy this over a GBA? Seriously, just one.

In the meantime you should consider these facts
a) Price: $300. I could buy a gamecube AND a PS2 for that price!
b) It has 1/30th of the game selection of the gba, and as an added bonus you pay 3.5 times more for it!
c) A duke nukem game with the sticker "coming soon" -- This can't be good!
d) Tony Hawk pro skater in isometric pseudo-3d! Ah man... does anyone remember Skate or Die?

It's a fully functional palm pilot running Palm O/S. And a decent color palm pilot runs in the $200-$400 price range. It seems like it was designed for the older gamers, this is why gaming selection is very important. And so far they have done a s****y job (IMO) in choice of games.

Otherwise I agree with most of you said.

This is what it needs in order of importance: Titles titles Titles Performance titles GBA is a juggernaught right now in portables. It lacks the functionality in pda and cell but it makes up for it in massvie game titels. They will have to either compeat hard core in that arena first or offer a remakable pda and cell service with a competative title library to even compeat.

The tapwave is cheaper than comparable Palm PDAs, has 128 megs of memory built in, and serves as a portable console. If you were ONLY looking for a GBA, then you'd buy the GBA, but if you are on the market for a Palm OS handheld and occasionally play games on it (and who doesn't) this one would be worth buying even if it didn't have proprietary games.
