Yes it is.
It drops you right at the zone to Greater Faydark(In lesser Faydark), So just a short run to the Book. Never need a port again

With the advent of Gate potions and PoP, the value of these things went way down.
That being said, it's still a great BP with decent stats... and what ranger has never wanted to own a Tolan's BP?

talk to Jokes he is looking for another he was paying 100k or more and I think you are wrong Haroun, with the invent of PoP it becomes priceless. You can port from anywhere (cept VP) and get anywhere in 2 shakes of a lamb's tail. Priceless imho

But with the porters in Plane of Knowledge, can't you now essentially do that for free?
Sure, it takes about 4-5 minutes, but if I'm pretty much anywhere, in PoP or in the Old World, there's a ride to PoK only moments away. From there I can get practically anywhere, right away (without the Nexus wait, even).
Mix that with the Gate potions out there, and I see a much cheaper, and almost as good, available taxi service.
90k buys a lot of gate potions, too...
