I am not sure if you have heard about this...but anyway, i share here...

nice i like a very long rise to endgame, should be fun if it's really that slow, good job funcom

Well, so far I have managed to get level 25 having started Saturday afternoon and playing a decent amount since then. There are many level 40+ people on my server already, Cimmeria, so unless the leveling slows down A LOT towards end game I don't see this being too realistic.

I don't think its too long. In fact, for many people its the leveling up aspect that is often the most rewarding, you make new friends, quest, get some good loot and explore the world. Besides its not all that bad, if you're on a PvP server it'll be fun to simply gank and kill off other guys around you  .

250 hours isn't much at all... average i would like to see 350-400 and actually more storyline

There is a level 80 already,i found out on the 22nd,i don't know if he got 80 b4 that even.just SICK.
he has nothing to do now tho.just farm and show off,coze there is no other people to group up with. sad

250hrs to get to lvl 80 in a new game where you pretty much do not know anything is lower than I took in WoW if you ask me.

People have levelled to 80 way faster than 250 hours, something along the lines of 3-4 days played.
Even if you don't have a group to grind with, I don't think that estimate will be accurate, 6days played seems more likely then.

We were argueing about this the other day, 4 days of powerleveling /played to 80, but it should take people a month to get to 80, which is good, gets people acclimated to the game.

I hit 80 in a little over 5.5 days played time but I had 0 closed beta experience. If I could've got from 1-55 in closed beta I easily would've shaved off 1-1.5 days played time.

250 hours is going to be for the average casual player. People will always beat that just like they did with WoW. The more people understand the game the faster the leveling will be.

250 hours is not all that long. In wow it takes at the least 10 days /played to get to lvl 60! Another 8 days to 70. That is Well over 300hours.

3 days after launch people were already level 80, i swear some people are just crazy. but Kudos to them if they made it without any bots or outside help i suppose.

Playing 24 hours a day for 10 days would still come pretty close. :p

This is pretty much true.
It's easy to level up in this game. Casually.

250 is way over, its far less, had people do it in just over 100 hours. If you dont do gathering or crafting, level in a party of 2 people its perfectly easy to do it around 100 hours.
