Maybe I am not the right person to write and answer you first, but I just got an inspiration from your post. I will be honest from the start and say that I dont agree with you at all. First, I think that Tabula Rasa is really a nice game and second it is not just for lonely and cold nights as you refer, but for every possible time of day or night. I really hope this turns to be a discussion and I also hope more people will tune in, because I need to know if I am the only one who thinks Tabula Rasa is a wonderful game, because you are not the only one I heard complaints from. Of course it would be a little bit hard to write about a game that nobody really knows what it is about.
