I'm expecting to be disappointed
So far, Marvel movies stick close to the histories, but DC movies don't.
I keep feeling this big "Jor El is alive" thing, and "Superman leaves Earth to visit Krypton" or something.

I think it's going to be a remake of the first movie, but with a better focus on Superman's youth. I hope they make his character more than human in his actions and feelings, and less of a lover type.

It has nothing to do with the first movie really. Its about superman being absent form earth for several years. Evil runs amock. He comes back. Lex tries once again to defeat him. He fails which goes to lead to a squel.
Following a mysterious absence of several years, the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic action-adventure Superman Returns, a soaring new chapter in the saga of one of the world's most beloved superheroes. While an old enemy plots to render him powerless once and for all, Superman faces the heartbreaking realization that the woman he loves, Lois Lane, has moved on with her life. Or has she? Superman's bittersweet return challenges him to bridge the distance between them while finding a place in a society that has learned to survive without him. In an attempt to protect the world he loves from cataclysmic destruction, Superman embarks on an epic journey of redemption that takes him from the depths of the ocean to the far reaches of outer space.

Ocean? lol maybe we will see superman vs white shark! would love to see the shark be like : WTF while being tossed from the atlantic ocean to the pacific one.

I didnt care for the originals much either. ALthough seeing SUperman2 in the theaters was fun.
