I am somehow attracted to dervish character in Guild Wars, and I am wondering what is good subprofession for him. I still have not started to play the game, but I will soon. I have read that the crafting professions are very important aspect of the game, and that every player must choose what several professions. Is that true? In addition, if it is, what are good ones for primary Dervish?

I do not play the game with that character, but I think that the subprofession is very important. If you pick right crafting professions for your character, you will save a lot of money and nerves in some quests. With right professions, you will be able to make certain items and pieces of armor and weapons. It is good idea to choose carefully, and not to rush into that. Your decision is going to be with you throughout the game, so choose carefully. Guild Wars is very good game for spending many hours playing it.
