My bro JUST watched the entire lord of the ring series in a row (took all of today to do it.) He said it's really awesome. Personally, I haven't watched all of it. I just watched parts of it on TV cuz i was channel surfing / switching.

Playing lord of the rings right now and reading The Hobbit. The game is pretty good but could use a more extensive PvP system which will come in expansions.

Lord of the Rings is by far one of the greatest films ever made, all three of them. They won many awards as well.

Love it, though I'm really missing the absence of Tom Bombadil and the Scouring of the Shire. I can sort of understand leaving Tom out, but the Scouring was rather an important part. Mad

I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Sauron is my favourite character. He rocks because he has a nice eye. His orcs are big and powerful. They look like me. Laughing

Before i watched the trilogy, I didn't think it would be so good. Surprised

LOTRO is a good game, the pve is incredible but the pvp lacks a lot. The profession system is very advanced.

Lord of the Rings is arguably the greatest influence today on modern perceptions of the Swords and Sorcery genre, both in games and movies. I don't think Dungeons and Dragons was influenced by anything more.

The movies are not exact translations of the books. I was not bummed by the alterations made in the films to accomodate the type of audience that now goes to movies. I have great hopes for the Hobbit movies.

Lord of the Rings rocks still. Always will...

Cool

I used to obsessed with Tolkien when I was younger but I still haven't gotten around to watching all the Lord of the Rings movies.. I saw the first one in theaters, was very amused when everyone groaned at the end not expecting it to be over..
