I've heard about this, but I thought it was some kind of joke. Even if it is real, this would be a good reason to encourage teens to vote. Also, he said that he's doing it to lose twice or something (if I remember correctly).

The funny thing about this is, he is running as both a republican and a democrat for the state of South Carolina. He has to pay $35,000 to enter his candidacy for the republican party and $2,500 for his democratic candidacy. I really do think he is serious about it, since these are large sums of money to be payed. He recently released his new book "I Am America And So Can You", which is said was a test to see if he actually stood a chance. I think he would be a great candidate and could possibly affect the race by winning the state of South Carolina, which could hurt Oboma or Clinton.

If hes doing it as a joke, then he should really say so while doing it. But if he really wants to be president, I dont see why Comedians cant be one also.

South Carolina didn't allow him on the ballot, so GG to him being president.

he was trying to get on both the democrat and republican ballet. i think the whole thing was a sham but if he did get on the ballet i would defiantly vote for him. even though he might not be the best man for the job hes the most uncorrupted candidate. i think thats why he didn't get on the ballet cause he is a man with a lot of power and his own agenda that and the fact that he not a corporate b***h.

To be totally honest, I think that the democrats realized that if he DID make it on to the ballot, a lot of people WOULD vote for him, and that could cause a lot of problems for them.

I still think that it is a Joke. What ticket is he running under? Democrat and Republican are out of the question as McCain, Hillary, Obama have clinched those.
