I actually sat down and watched this movie and tried to keep an open mind.
It was a weak Resident Evil meets Aliens meets Starship Troopers 1. New type of bug that can take over people and imitate them perfectly. Uses **** as the main way to transfer the bug.
That aside, the HOT blonde girl from Nip/Tuck shows her rack. That's pretty much the only reason the movie didn't get a 1 in my book.
Also, the main soldier guy looks like Richard Hatch from Survivor, except buff, and clothed.
I suggest lots of alcohol before viewing...

I always wanted to see a sequel. Better weapons, cooler ships, Rikos ruffnecks, but I checked it out on IMDB and wasn't too excited about it. They were taliking about an actual sequel a while ago, new director but they wanted the same cast and obviously that fell through. Oh Well.

Downloaded it but the sound doesnt work, it looks like a Showtime B-movie, it looks like it all takes place in some s****y looking bunker with some crappy CG aliens. The first Starship Troopers pwnd though.

Yeah kinda, except you never know who the infected people are...although it takes about 5 seconds to tell. A weak attempt at survival horror.
