In the first movie it talked about not knowing who Anakain's father was. Otherthen R2's comedy routine, that is the only disappointment I had with the movie.

Anakin was not gone completely. If Obi-Wan was really all that goody goody, he would have tried to save him... or, if he REALLY needed to kill him, he would actually DO it, instead of leaving him to suffer like that. Like I said, Obi is the traitor here.

Unfortunately, we all do crazy things when we are angry and/or when our vision is coulded with love. Anakin's motives were pure and selfless... If only the retarded Jedi counsil would actually HELP him instead of being all wise-ass and acting like they have an 18-inch dildo stuck up their ass... then maybe there would be no Darth Vader.
But that's beside the point... Anakin could have been saved. There was still good in him. When Obi-Wan left him to die, he completely destroyed anything good left in Anakin.

A good friend of mine waited in line since 6 pm yesterday to be the first in the line. I brang him food, drinks, cigarettes for the entire time. Spent more time with him there than any of our other friends.
2 hours before they let us in, a company that makes these
gave him two of them. I got one. I am happy. The movie rocked.
Ohh, and they are like $150.00.

dude... watch the first one again.. they werent talking about not knowing who the father was... they were talking about the fact that there was no father... and they mention he was concieved by the mediclorians... which are like microscopic force organisms.... and they point out that anakins mediclorian count is higher than master yoda's... which lead them to believe he is the one that will bring the force into balance as the prophecy said... i mean
how the f**k did you understand any of these movies while not knowing this key part of the plot?...

Obi-wan would later admit that, through the way he dealt with Anakin, he would ultimately be at fault for the near destruction of the Jedi Order. This played along perfectly.
Luke being able to see a very thin amount of good in Vader and bring that out of him is part of the reason he was the greatest Jedi ever.
