Star Trek Online confirmed for February 2010

This is great news.

Cryptic has confirmed that Star Trek Online is set for a February 2, 2010 release date in the U.S., and a February 5, 2010 release in Europe.

So, will you play it?

My step dad has been a fan of Star Trek forever... today being his birthday I went to see when it was being released or if they are doing beta and saw they opened up a closed beta now.

I personally would not play the game, but I know he would definitely give it a try, since he has always loved Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica (sp) and all those scifi shows/games.

I might try beta if I got in but can't see myself actually wanting to play, would most likely let him play beta if I did get in lol.
