Ok, ok... I wanted to make a topic about some of the plot, jokes and other things you might have noticed in this movie.
Anyway... Spoilers below.
First up, friggin' amazing movie. It struck me at first a little too much like a horror movie though. All the screaming when Doc Oc was coming to be. It got tiresome quickly. On to the things I noticed though !
In the first fight scene between Spider-Man & Doc Oc, Doc is climbing a building. He moves one of the arms, and a piece of the building falls to the street. Suddenly you see an old man pull someone out of the way. it's like a real quick image.
That guy is Stan Lee.
Next up... this movie had a lot of other movies tied into it. I mean, when he's stopping the sub way it's deffinatly Passion of Christ. On top of that, when he's regaining his ability to be Spider-Man and he's on the roof, I wanted to shout "You mean I can dodge bullets?" "No, I'm saying you won't have to!"
And god damn. They COMPLETELY killed his sense of secret identity. In the book, only a few people know who he is. And he like NEVER lets himself be seen by public without a mask on.
Anyway, toward the end of the movie, right when Peter and Mary Jane are talking again (after doc oc is done), there's a close up where she asks him to say something. 2 things popped into my head there, that would make it perfect.
1.) Porkchop Sandwiches!!!
2.) Yabba-Dabba-Doo!
He shoulda said either of those =/
All in all, the movie was great. The elevator scene was hysterical. "The crotch is cramped" or something. Own...
In closing, I wanna say something. MJ looked like complete ass in this movie. She looked sweet in the 1st, but she was like the town's random "crazy cat lady" in this one. Do something with the hair! Pete needs a hot piece of ass MJ, like the one in the comics...

I 2nd what Xarp said :p The king kong/godzilla shit needs to go. I kept expecting Japanese people to run up and move their mouths while English came out at a different speed saying "oh no there is Dr. Octopus, run for your lives!" Kirsten Dunst has that sweet girl next door look that Mary Jane's character is supposed to portray, I think that's why they chose her. The problem is that red hair looks like shit on pale girls for the most part and she isn't excluded in that category I <3 her as a blonde though.
I didn't think it was believable on the subway that just because he saved all of their lives that none of them would leak who he is to a sketch artist and what not since I doubt anyone knew who Peter Parker is that was riding it. Also, I didn't like how they made Peter overly pathetic in the movie, even though it was the point, they just went a little too far in some of the scenes.
Good movie overall though as far as entertainment value goes.

LOL so i counted upwards of 18 different scream takes.
where it's a closeup on a girl's face and she's smacking her cheeks and screaming a la mccauly caulkin.
it was hilarious.

Yeah, I had those pegged during the movie.
Also, Stan Lee had appearances in Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, and DareDevil...I believe.
