Wow, hell of an episode. There was a lot that happened, let's see...
Tony put on a lot of weight, where as Vido dropped a lot.
Carmella's new Porche Cyan, as well as p***y's wife's new Corvette (I thought they were gonna race) From watching the "HBO Premeire" I really think Carmella is going to die this season. It was just so strange to hear her say "Well, she isn't dead yet." That thought's never crossed my mind before.
Anyway, The one made guy gets $2 mil from his Aunt, then we learn he's also an FBI nark. I was suprised at that one. Didn't see it coming at all. His suicide scene at the end is hands down the best Suicide I've ever seen on TV/movie.
Junior and Tony... HOLY SHIT. First episode and already Tony's near death? Junior's losing his mind way worse than before.
Phil actually seems like a decent guy this season. Last season he was a HUGE vindictive piece of shit.
And finally, the old FBI nark, I forget his name but he somewhat looks like Carmine. He's gone. Unfortunatly he's given a LOT of info on Tony to the beauro.
All in all, it's a decent ep. I wouldn't say a great one, but it started the season off nicely.
What was the song they played in both the beginning and the end?

totally agree with what u said, episode was a little slow but it set up some nice plots for the season...
anyone else notice there was no preview for next weeks episode

Yeah, I was a little dissapointed that there was no preview for next week. Oh well. AJ with long hair looks really f*****g gay. I mean, it's not that I'm looking at him but I'm used to seeing him short haired.

I think there was no preview for next week b/c they want people to talk about whether Tony really dies or not. I had a friend call me saying he couldn't believe they might have killed him off.
Scenes from next week would show Tony in them and alive, and that would leave no mystery to chat about at the water cooler.
I am fairly sure he's alive, but that is a perfect example of the PR/word of mouth they want.

There is nothing in the works of this sort now. No pre-production, no screenplays, no contracts, nothing.
Even if they did a movie, it would be a plot imbedded in the past, something that we didn't see in a season somewhere, and not something that was chronologically added on after the last episode of season seven. So yes, hypothetically, Tony could die and they still could make a movie with him, Aidrianna and Big p***y all in it.
As far as killing Tony goes, that would be like killing Jerry Sienfeld at the beginning of the last season of his show. If Tony died it would be toward the end of season seven and then we would see Christopher take over.

Will they make a movie? Maybe. I know I hope they will.
They haven't ruled it out, but the media will henceforth be bothering everyone about it and people will have to answer questions one way or the other.

Yup, it was good to see the family back together again, and as for Tony getting shot, I think this will set him off the deep end on taking care of Junior, the crazy old f**k. It's a good show, the only person I wish they would off was Tony's fat sister, I hate that b***h, I really wish they would kill her off.
I was really going to miss the hot peice of ass for being killed, but I have to say Tony's daughter thinned down again and is looking smoking hot, I would love to do her! When she was dancing in her bra and panties, super hot. Give me some of that! Has it really been a year since Tony cheated on his wife, wow that would have to be the longest he has gone without another peice of ass.
