Vekril...Stop trying to candy coat the fact that our president has a speech impediment.
Don't give me b******t about speech patterns and regional accent dude. I can give a shit about a bunch of rednecks that can't pronounce the H in historic, because everyone else I've ever run across in my entire life has pronounced it with a hard H including my redneck relatives. Having it pronounced both ways, and then becoming an exception to a rule of the English language is ridiculous. How much harder is it to just say..."a historic"...it bugs man, it f*****g bugs! George Carlin would totally have my back on this one. Hopefully in the future we will all use words in a similar fashion, it would seem a lot of Texans are following the hard "H" trend...you should try it Vekril.....Hhhhiisstooorriic....God damn it feels good. |
You have a speech impediment. You're too wordy.

I pronounce it with a hard h, but as I said there are 2 acceptable pronunciations within the English language.
You think Merriam-Webster's is wrong?

You pronounce historic "istoric"? |
That's the English language for you. Quite a few inconsistancies because of the mixture of many cultures, but he's right. It is "an historic". By the rules, it should be "a historic", but it isn't! Deal with it!
"I" before "E", except after "C". Ok, so what about "rein", "reign", "feign", "heinous", etc.?

speech ( P ) Pronunciation Key (spch)
n.
The faculty or act of speaking.
The faculty or act of expressing or describing thoughts, feelings, or perceptions by the articulation of words.
Something spoken; an utterance.
im·ped·i·ment ( P ) Pronunciation Key (m-pd-mnt)
n.
Something that impedes; a hindrance or obstruction. See Synonyms at obstacle.
Everything you say is hindered by this jack ass impediment problem. Your problem isn't with articulation, it's with the words you choose to use, and the attitude or tone associated with them.
You not only have a speech impediment, but a behavioral one as well. Congradulations, you're a j*****s.

Not quite ready to eat a bowl of shit, since the bowl of shit seems to be words on a web page that I'm reading, rather than a steaming bowl of shit sitting on my computer desk. I'm sure once the bowl of shit arrives on my desk, I will be somewhat prepared to eat it, but at this time my mind is on other things.
