I was wondering if we have any singing experts. I know that we have an expert for damn near everything. Every one of you knows 12 different martial arts and can kill with a thought, but can any of you sing? I was just curious because I sing to my daughter when she's upset and i'm the only person that it works with. Don't get me wrong, i'm by no means a good singer. I'm more like someone smashing a dying frog.

Same thing with me and my son. He loves it when I sign to him, even if everyone else runs away screaming covering their ears. You're probably her favorite person, so it doesn't matter what you sound like.

As long as you have absoultely no followup questions....Yes, besides being able to kill with my hands OR my mind, I am also an expert in most things including singing.

I can't sing to save mah life...but when my son was a baby, I used to sing Silent Night to him when he'd wake at night...and he loved it. I don't think small children understand what BAD singing is; that is yet another thing they learn from the people around them

im no expert, ive won a couple competitions in the past i sing constantly yet i dont feel i have an extrodinary voice, but my boys love it when i sing and as a result my four year old sings constantly. kids are funny little creatures, ive seen an amazing singer try to entertain in front of a class of 15 five year olds and soon as one plugged their ears and screwed up their nose the rest of them followed suit. yet their teacher who couldnt carry a tune to save her life would clunk the piano three times sing out and they would all sit and listen intently. children are bizzare little creatures, but they are a wonderful way to start people.

I sing and play guitar. But like someone said earlier, when you're singing to your kids its really more imporant that you do it out of love rather than how good you can do it. Singing for me is something like my own personal therapy. Some workout, some read, some sing.
