In phone convos theres not much proof so if they scam you, you have no proof. Make sure you have AIM and blizzard account management page up. Then make sure he/she puts any piece of info on the Aim. Then make sure he/she puts anything important that you said on the phone on AIM. For example, if he or she has any extra info saying you are getting a 70 warlock with two 30 alts make sure its put on the AIM so you know that your getting what you need and not some BS from the account when you log on. This is for World of Warcraft.
Now for Runescape. I think this is where most people get scammed. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RECOVERIES. Untill everythings fine on account an you haven't been scammed for a week make sure to keep them. Because i hear people complaining i forgot to turn on recoveries so he hacked me. Of course they are going to scam you they have recoveries turned on you don't. Every single person when they have an open oppurtunity like that they are going to.
When selling and buying accounts. When i buy accounts unless u have serious rep. A person should get half the info before its sent then as soon as the money is received the other person gets money. Because i hear people always say the username and pass is in correct or they took my money. Especially if your giving money over 400. Come on think about your sending a random stranger money and this is for an account ur not even sure is good so you should at least get half the information but definatly not full so the seller has so control also.
This is just some helpful advice. I buy, sell, and trade this way and only been scammed once so ya im happy.
