Hello. I still didn’t started with this game, even if I am attending to do so, pretty soon enough. Yep, and is there anyone who can tell me is this game worth of playing as a solo character without any companion? I somehow got used on Diablo II, Knights of the Temple and so on. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can play this game all by your self without any other companion all the way, and earn all score that follows trough the game. How fast you’ll make progress, well it all depends, but it is way too much funnier to play together with some other characters together as a team. Plenty of those worthy Guild stuff awaiting all companions, by the way.

Yeah, absolutely.

I have admit I love that this game will have the option to be able to go solo instead of waste a grip of time looking for a group.

From what I've read the early zones will be mostly PvE and solo friendly. But as you progress PvP will steadily become a bigger part of the game. I believe they've said they still want players to have the opportunity to get to the maximum level purely by soloing.

But you might find you like grouping in this game. It's incredibly easy to find an open party or warband. You don't have to make friends or be chatty if that's not your style. And in Public Quests you'll work alongside other players and get full credit for helping them, even if you're not in a party.

Like any MMO, you're able to succeed as a solo player. However, to excell you will want to get a good group going. And really, how fun is PvP/RvR when you're all by yourself and the enemy is running around in squads?

Leveling, you can PvE solo quest or run scenarios (PUG RvR things; WoW battlegrounds if you're familiar with that) and be just fine, but RvR is a different story.

Mythic's "thing" is RvR, which is not PvP. It's LIKE PvP, but essentially balanced not on a 1-to-1, or even 2-to-2, basis but on large-scale battles and whole armies. Thus you have group synergies and abilities that automatically or very easily compliment the players around you, encouraging cooperation (critics would say "zerging") and making solo play comparatively difficult.

I played a Witch Hunter - the WoW rogue equivalent - and attempted to score solo kills for the first half of my career or so, with extremely limited success. Non-clothies were extremely difficult to dispatch, the presence of a healer or second player made kills virtually impossible, and the general gameplay mechanics meant that people traveled alone almost never, especially if they were squishy.

I found myself enjoying Soloing just as much as grouping. It's hard because there is so much to do in the game PvE becomes a distant memory once you get hardcore into RvR.

Yeah soloing in warhammer is super easy.

But you'll probably want to play with friends, as RvR PvP is much better with them.

Soloing so far appears to be quite doable. However, you might miss out on some of the benefits associated with grouping/guilding. Don't know if you intended on joining a guild, the perks you gain from being guilded (thanks to the living guild system) are quite nice and will be very useful in RVR.

Define solo...You could probably level up soloing fairly easy but I'm not sure how you would take on a full RvR group by yourself

You can solo yes, but guild groups and combat train assist are a lot of fun as well.

I believe all classes are designed to be a solo class...given its up to you the player to do the rest....now in PvP, your role is either tank, support, or heal...etc.

This game is for PvP mainly, the PvE is rather dull and crappy compared to WoW's PvE.
