People leaving Omen? Omen is a fine guild and had far less drama than any others I can think of. Aloo, Ruben and the Fane constantly b***h about BC in our special channel.
I mean I'm gone for a week or 2 and when I come back your cross-server transfer was denied so you leave your home guild? Huh? I mean hey it's your perrogative and I'm certainly not b******g at ya - just confused.
Omen is a good guild and god knows there isn't going to be any less drama in BC or other guilds.
This is Occulis btw - sorry I did not feel like logging out of Psink: The Inverse Spink.
I was trying to guess politicians motives IRL one time. My friend who I was talking with let me ponder aloud for about 30 minutes. He's um... 54 now I think. Anyway, at the end of my tirade where I was ranting about morals, etc., he said: "There's an easy way to answer most of your questions behind peoples motives."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah. Follow the money. Where does the money trail go?"
Except in cases of **** and revenge - he's right. I think it applies here, too. But honestly Omen isn't that far away from PoTime so I don't see what the big rush to join a guild like BC is anyway.
O well just my thoughts. Not ranting, just curious.

Yeah they really are pretty far from Time. In addition to that by the time they get there it's going to be crowded as f**k.

Same reason people join CoS, it's a pit stop guild. You join, get better equipment and flags, then move up to a bigger and better guild.

Most of Omen is elemental flagged tho, and has a lot of VT loot. From the raids I've been on, a lot of the players are very good. I don't see PoTime that far off. Especially considering EQ is little more than a clusterfuck recipe of patience and persistence.

Being elementally flagged is a big difference from being Time enabled is a very big difference man, getting elementally flagged is way easier infact.

Killing FR and xegony is a cakewalk compared to the rathe and corinav events. We have killed FR and xegony and I dont consider us close to time. Maybe once we win against rathe i'll start saying it but untill then we are just an elemental guild. Look at numi diddn't they kill 2 gods then sit around for 3-4 months during the summer? people want the loot now they could care less about friendship. At least that's what ive encountered in the people who join cos act all friendly to get in and get loot then hightail it out of there for A guild that's already done with the game.

BC is a full time raid guild. We don't just choose to raid when the officers are in the mood. We don't put up with b******t complaints from members wanting to do LDON. You raid, or you find another guild. We have little to no drama, and we play a hardcore game.
And yes, Omen has far more drama than BC. Infact BC has so little drama, I come here to stir up drama because I'm bored.

Well, from watching Omen over the last few months, all I can say is damn, they have a rocking cool GL. I mean jesus...
And lord Isriam, You always have to come and say somehting like that, always contradicting what anyone says. Regardless if its about VT, drama or anything it seems lol. Such a d*****s.
Also, the fact that people leave Omen (or BC, or cos, or SA) is just the way the game goes. Regardless if Ikkan is a little queer b*****d or what not. I am generally cool with anyone who leaves the guild with a honest reason, not someone who leaves the guild and lies about why they leave. I think most GL feel the same way. We dont raid enough? Cool, say it and good luck. You have RL friends in another guild? YAY4U! You think I am a great GL and yet feel that omens cyber abilities just dont compare to what you could get from another guild? Yippyditoolodofool!
But, all in all, I give this post a.... A-, due to the fact that it was made by someone who plays so little yet still says Omen is cool! Thx Occulis!

I thank Occulis for trying to enliven an otherwise boring day on Realpoor. Yesterday was similarly boring.
I will say that Isriam is less consistent than his alter ego Aimras. Aimras will say something and stick to it where Isriam does a 180 every other post.

I wouldn't call Rathe hard, once SOE ended the PoP beta and fixed it, ED got it within a week, took 3 nights of practice for Awakened, about the same for Pak and Numi.
Coirnav is the block, and only because of the time frame required to beat it and the gayness of Everquest and water zones.

People jumping ship will always happen, the lure of phat lewts is too big. f**k, even I did it 3 years ago when I joined Enrapture, although phat lewts back then were PoG drops and HoT farms.

The bottom line is your guild is always gonna suck as long as you keep recruiting f**s with h**o names like Headstomper, Blastin, Tastee, Sloot (lol good one d*****s) and of course, Blancah. The shittiest character to ever be put into a streetfighter game.

I dunno... I think Omen raids plenty. Pretty sure the DKP is publicly visible too. Unless you have firsthand knowledge in 2 guilds, you can't really say which has less drama. Heck, even if you had a bot in each, logged and reviewed guildchat every night, you'll still come away with a vague idea.
You can't really measure drama. If an obese female shaman with 9 kids thinks the guild has drama simply because she doesn't get enough "Hello!!!! HUGS!!!!" when she logs on then - hey - for her there actually is more drama. I guess.
I understand peoples goals change, but I think when 3 or so people leave a guild at once it's neither coincidence nor a reflection on the guild itself. It's the grass-is-greener affliction. I'm not condemning anyone for it - just kind of bemoaning the situation. It's too common an attitude to really get upset over.

There's nothing wrong with omen. Its pretty much drama free. BC on the other hand has a f**k load of drama. Lots of people in BC are leaving to join Omen because its so fun.
