and Im stuck without a key and a bunch of error pages.
I signed up and sent the information, then it took me to gamespy arcade for an additional signup, and after I hit finish it took me to an error page.
WTF?

From the official site, and new this afternoon:
The World of Warcraft and Open Beta Account Creation sites are temporarily down. We are experiencing technical difficulties on our end and are working diligently to restore service to this site. We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing you. We do not currently have an estimated time for when the World of Warcraft Web site will be back up, but we are working extremely hard to solve these technical difficulties as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Please note that until the World of Warcraft Web site has been restored, any further World of Warcraft updates will be posted on our Battle.net Web site.
I don't think the open beta was supposed to begin until today, so hopefully we can still get in and start downloading...

Yea, i got accepted and got my key.
After you send in your info there was another page for entering a code, so thats another screen for errors. Took like 250 trys before i got through all the errors.

I am sure you will get in- I don't think they are limiting it.
1. do you have a firewall? if so, disable it-win XP comes with a default firewall
2. did ya call customer service ?

Ok, for all us non FP peeps, Bliz has the download available through them now, still no sign up/register page tho. I'm downloading, but if anyone sees a place to get an authorization key so I can register and play, plz PM me and shout here!
