Last night and this morning she was telling me she was gonna kill herself cause she can't handle feeling like she does anymore, so i blew the whistle and got her family involved. She hasnt been able to get over the break-up, at all, and it has been 4 months.
I obviously had no idea when we dated (2.5 years) that she was as unstable as she is. Has anyone been through something like this? And no this isn't stupid high school b******t. We are both 23, I dunno if I did the write thing but she sure sounded serious. Her dad, mom and aunt are at her house now, but she lives 90 minutes away otherwise i would have been there myself.

Yeah I had some of this dumb shit and I simply said, "Well do it then" and that's the end of that. They are just looking for attention. Or tell her if she lets you do whatever the hell you want to her, and she cooks and cleans then you will go back out with her. Oh and she needs to keep in shape!

OHH and PS,
The most important thing to remember is your ex gf is BAT SHIT CRAZY so you may want to file a restraining order right now and save yourself the time in the future.

we have a winner
one of our friends dated a girl for about 5 years and well after they finally broke up for good she was stalking him. Leaving tons of messages and showing up at his work and all those great stalker things.
Well he solved that really quick by getting a restraining order and well now she is a crazy b***h who got married after knowing another man for like 5 months and lives across the country.

Never ever say this to someone who threat to suicide : well do it then!
This is not a movie, in RL people listen when you say this. It's my gf's job she work with troubled people and see people who tried to suicide all the time.

I have in the past and thats because I don't care, I don't go for that crazy "I'll kill myself shit". If they want to try and play that card, f**k em. I had a few say this and none ever did it.
The whole thing, thats the easy way out of life, if you have no balls to deal with it, then f**k it. All this "helping" people shit is maken the whole country weaker, grow the f**k up and learn to deal with problems like a normal person.

People who call more then once and tell you they want to commit suicide want attention and yes, they need help, but they should be told to stfu and bother a proffessional..
I'm not sure of the legal on this, but never tell someone to their face "do it then", in the weird land of america, you could be sued for it by parents etc

Yup once the crazy b***h says she is going to kill herself don't interact with her at all. If you don't have caller ID get it so you don't pick up the phone when she calls. And don't listen to any of her messages, just skip them and delete them. Don't get involved.

Agree with above. You did the right thing. She sounds like she is in a pretty deep depression. Its a family matter now, and you gotta go on with your life as she should have gone on with hers. Hopefully with some help she will gain the ability to come out of it.

An older sister of a friend of mine was dating some douche bag in high school for a lil' while, no idea how long. They broke up over something, he called her one night trying to get back together again, when she said no, all she heard was a POP! d*****s put a bullet through his head while on the phone with her...she had some serious issues after that. True story.
