I was just wondering if this "Graphics Patch" is going to make runescape turn into a game like WOW, or something with nice graphics, like where all the attacks you do do different things(like if your training defence you smash your shield into the enemey) cause that would be sick, also i was wondering if there gonna make it so like you put your food and pots on 1-9 keys, so like you just push whatever key you have your food or pots on key 1 then you just press key 1 and you eat it, cause that would be sick to....

Uhh no. I dought they will ever make a combat system where you do anything other than swing your sword. Also you dont get hotkeys for pots and stuff, alothough there are hotkeys for inventory, weapon, and things like that. The graphics are mainly on the backround, not the charrecters, they stay pretty much the same, except for the talking heads which look quite nice. I think all of it sort of ruins the old charm runescape used to have, but w/e, maybe a change will be good, cause I am not playing anymore...

There's hotkeys you can use in runescape?
What?
Can you give an example? I've never heard of that.

rs will never evolve out of java, thusly you're not going to get anything graphic intensive. the only thing that looked good in java was quake zero, which got scrapped anyway

The reason runescape does so well in comparison, is that its like a grass roots game, they will prolly keep it that way while improving graphics but will always be a non installation game
