I was just wondering, because I haven't seen a guitar even once in the three days I've flipped by. I did see the same Nelly video twice in a span of about 1.5 hours.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with R&B videos, except they're only about **** and they're on all the time. Now I remember why none of my cousins get to watch MTV. I guess their parents don't want them to "spread their eagle" or whatever it was.

I agree with you completely, most rap is a poor excuse for music that appeals to a very, very low base. If you like rap, you probably suck at life.
But then 95% of Led Zeppelin was only about ****, and you rarely hear anyone complain about them.

an it's not all R&B it's rap, hip hop, and pop that MTV shows. I wish they would play more music altogether, but instead lets have a bunch of dumb shows that no one cares about.... Neato...

I saw a Modest Mouse video crammed in between a Lil' John and some member of 50 cent's queafs-in-black patrol. It was, for the most part, the only white on MTV.

I recommend Much Music. Unfortunatly not everyone has access to it 
As for MTV, just the fact that the actually NEED an M2 suggests they suck at music. If they want to impress me, they need to bring back Headbangers Ball, or if they are only going to do shows now, then bring back MTV's Oddities, The State, or Aeon Flux.

Stairway to Heaven doesn't really count. The lyrics aren't about anything.
Plant and Page both earned reputations for enjoying underage "entertainment" while on tour. Also have to keep in mind that it was the 70s. Speedballs and groupies were the norm for most bands back then. If you listen to the lyrics, you'd be surprised how many are entirely about ****.
Hell, looking at my playlist right now, the only song on Led Zeppelin II that isn't about **** is Moby d**k (a drum solo).

All we have over here in Holland is MTV(gay) Europe, and some stupid channel called "The Box" where you can call and request a video, but 99% of the time its the same crap MTV shows anyway.
Then theres 1 other music channel called TMF (The Music Factory) witch is just like some jizz left overs from MTV and its barfable

I work for Comcast in Chicago .. we used to carry The Box .. it was actually a big hit ... but , unfortunatley they equipment they used .. a hunk of shit server and iffy downlink ... the customers started falling off . Then they sold out to MTV... Its now MTV2.
