Well, we finally figured out a way that at least works for us here. Now, previously there were a few hours during the day where limewire and occasionally bittorrents would work, but now with this it works 24/7.

This is Google VPN(Virtual Private Network). What it does it is encrypts your internet traffic, preventing others from seeing it. Just download the client, it's small, and then all you need to do is connect to it, and Bada-Bing-Bada-Boom, you can download off of Limewire and Sometimes Bittorents.
There is a downside: If you have it connected, online gaming(BF2, CS, etc) gets pretty high ping. But it's a simple solution, just disconnect, and restart your PC and the pings for gaming will be fine.

Another Downside: Sometimes it will kick you from AIM or X-Fire, but if you just reconnect you can get right back on to them.

Google really rocks. This project kicks Jimmy Smits in the nuts for $5 per byte. I love the idea!

Sorry to bring such an old thread back, but I had downloaded the google secure access back in september and it worked fine up until a few weeks ago, when it just stopped working all together. Any help?

First year in college, I got nailed for downloading movies.. they charged me $50 fee for first offense to keep universals attorneys for suing the shit outta the school. 2nd offense would be to terminate my internet access. But that was 3 years ago.... probably can get away with it now if you can block incoming connections.
