Every single player there had a s****y hand.
Take a look at the hands:
3 diamond, 9 hearts - low end of an outside straight draw and just about the lowest flush possible.
4 hearts, 10 spades - pair of 10s...which is also low pair with 2 over cards after the flop, then another, and another.
King clubs, 5 spades - high end of an outside straight draw.
8 diamonds, 8 clubs - 3 over cards on the flop and ultimately low pair overall. Decent flush draw but still beaten by ALOT of diamonds...low end of a possible inside straight
King spades, 5 diamonds - again, high end of a straight draw. Possible low flush.
Every single one of those hands is complete shit. All the flush draws are betting on a low flush. The pairs are all low pairs with every single card being an over card. And the straights...sure thing...stay in and try to catch straights. See how long your money lasts with that strategy.
Either one of two things happened here, someone tried to bluff and everyone else is an idiot for calling or the dealer is a fool for not betting the house on the flop and buying the pot.
Funny hand but atarom is right, "who the hell stayed in with all those s****y hands!"

Because that response doesn't show why he's wrong. It's the same as me saying 'You're right because I said so.' Not very convincing...at least this way anyone that reads it and doesn't know much about poker might see why he's wrong.

They're not playing for real money. The game they're playing isn't poker anyway.

Ahhh...well, that would explain why they would stay in. Unless I'm missing something, they're playing Hold 'Em...which is poker.

With three high diamonds in the flop, are you telling me you wouldn't stay if you had the eight? Of course you would. And then the ace is 4th... so the pocket eights were a good hand. A couple of those players indeed had crap, though.

Why are you guys discussing thier hand selection post flop? Thier hand selection is horrible all around and not becuase of the flop.

You have to play to win. Everyone had something going, why not see the next card? It's not like there were a lot of people at the table.
So you would have folded and you would have lost your blind or whatever else you may have went in for. I would have taken some of your money. Who's the winner?

No, you have to play the table. Every player had a losing flush draw or a straight (which is also a loser with an obvious flush showing).
If 3 diamonds flop and you have ONE low diamond, you're an idiot to call a big raise. Even if you have a fantastic read on the guy, you don't call because you have a low flush card and your straight is a loser. I guarantee that if you sit down at a table with any competent player and chase crap like this all night, you'll lose every single time. Oh, you may win a few antes when he wisely folds but you will lose over the course of the night. It costs money to see those extra cards...that money is not well spent if your odds of winning are low.
The only player at that table with any play was the dealer. It doesn't even matter what his hand is.
