I am seriously trying to understand the other side. I am genuinely trying to watch the Demo Natl Conference with an open mind but theres one thing that keeps turning me off and making me change the channel...
CAN YOU f*****s EVER STOP WITH YOUR BLEEDING HEART SOB STORIES .. O .. M... F.. G....
If I hear about the poor lil girl who had to sell her bicycle to afford school one more time I'm going to puke...
Every single speech is so packed with emotional b******t that it's impossible to find actual points.. Oh yea.. I'm sorry.. there is one point which I can't HELP but get.. "Kerry is a STRONG leader..."
I'm sorry but I just don't get you liberals... I really don't

Republicans toss in the same sob stories in their stuff. Maybe you dont notice it because you are hearing enough other stuff to make you happy.
Its like all presidents trot out the sob story of hope and renewal and patriotism etc during their state of the union addresses, its like tradition now.
I dont know what these conventions are good for beyond a pep rally. rah rah rah. wu wu. go us! I admit to enjoying hearing some of the issues that I feel strongly about brought up, but in general, they just make me squirm because I know its all an orchestrated commercial, just like the republican convention will be.

remember the conventions are there to rally the troops - the hard line people that are going to vote their way no matter what. most of the speeches on both sides will be filled with b******t and over the top you rah rah crap...
it's the same in both camps

As far as im concerned with the DNC letting Moore talk they are a whole new party of scumbags they should just go ahead and invite hitler and Saddam Hussein to come and talk and as many unamerican figures as they can find.

and WTF was Teresa Heinz-Kerry doing speaking... (who keeps their old husbands name anywase.. what a wierdo..)
12 minutes of her droning on about herself in 5 languages and then a 2 minute blurb about her hubby...
Then to hear the commentators praise her afterwards.. I was floored.. I thought EVEN hardline Leftists CANT think her speech was good.. but they did...

Actually she has no blood relation to the Heinz family ... John Heinz was her ex hubby who was a US Senator ... Yes the crazy b***h kept her dead ex hubby's name and hyphenated it when she married John Kerry...
She also .. to this day says she's still madly in love with John Heinz... That must be a HUGE ego boost for Kerry

really, you know what side of the fence I have had to place myself on politically so as much as I'd like to, I dont care for the woman's showing so far. She is just weird.
I get the feeling that she is in her own world and being put into a presidential campaign isnt as cool for her as some of the high rollers parties she's used to attending and/or giving. She seems semi-interested in the whole proceedings.
