I finished my download on that FEAR single player, and installed it no problem.
But when I play it, it freezes for 5-10 seconds every few seconds. just does it over and over and over, yet sound keeps playing.
Any idea what I could do to fix it? I mean... it plays smooth as all hell, just the video completely stops responding for a few seconds.

uninstall it..
it just another Half-Life2/quake3/lowlightannoyingflashlightswapwithgun clone game

I still wanted to try it. aparantly it's pretty cool.
I never got into half life 2, quake 3, unreal or any of the others, but it's still worth "trying".
I'm just not a FPSer.

well coz i like ya xarpie a serious answer.
I played it for abuot 20-30 min and noticed the same thing.
I just chalked it up to it being a beta and/or me setting the video settings to high.

Actually the single player demo is a farcry from the s****y beta release the game had. That was f*****g horrible, atleast the demo is somewhat playable.
Personally, I like the way Monolith/Sierra advertises this s****y game.

This isn't even on the same level of HalfLife2 btw.

I thought the single player was pretty cool, really freaked me out at some parts, especially the ladder lol.
