I wouldnt want to be at their place right now..cause I even if I hope that they will be ok...I dont think that they will be put in jail.
Saddam and his sons must be very frustrated right now...I dont think that I want to know what they might do to these soldiers even less...the womans that got captured.

Who gives a shit what Sadaam is loosing....he had the opportunity to go quietly. He could have avoided everything had he cooperated with the UN. Just cause he caused the US to have to forcibly remove him doesn't give him the right to torture and kill Soldiers. We captured prisoners in Afghanistan....where are they? In a camp, with 3 meals a day living better than some Americans and not 1 has been killed and their pictures circulated.
f**k Sadaam and the lame as camel he rode in on. His days are numbered and if you don't think torture and murder are wrong then f**k YOU too !

I don't think you understand, the tapes that pictures came from were not played in the UK or the US. Therefore, the parents of these soldiers did not see their dead children from a television.
My above statement was in response to Tryn's post about the sorrow for the families. You're right, it's wrong that these were sent out by the Iraqis but next time, try thinking about what is said.

I am talking about the people who TOOK the picture. Implying the same people who murdered soldiers. Was Paden there? Did he take a picture mins after those soldiers were killed? If he didn't then no ... If he did then yes.

I never stated anything about torture being good or wrong, you did.
All I said is that Saddam doesnt care about his people much less about prisoners, hes loosing his power, money , influence, and his life soon as well as his 2 sons.
You can be sure that he will torture these soldiers even if he knows that he wont get any good informations.
one of his son once shot a guy 2 times in the head during an arabs/leaders party just to be able to sleep with this guy's wife.

I see this and I read about how Bush is "outraged" about the treatment of U.S. POW's, etc., and I have to think, Bush, man, just shut the f**k up. You are the one that decided to invade Iraq and get our soldiers killed/wounded, whatever. Hell, Bush even signed an EXECUTION ORDER to kill someone directly. That has never been done, and is infact, illegal. Oh but he can just change the rules whenever he feels it is needed. That's great to know. I would hope that he understood that this would happen, does he, or anyone for that matter, honestly expect the Iraqi's to treat our soldiers with dignity? We know that Iraq is a country full of barbarians and savages with no regard to civilized human conduct, but now to be outraged about it strikes me as incredibly arrogant and ignorant, especially when WE are the aggressor, I might add. We are in uncharted moral territory here to begin with.
I wonder what Bush will think of next. The man is a danger to our nation as well as others.
It is interesting also to note: An analysis of Bush's speeches has found that his most preferred verb is "Expects". He "Expects" this, "Expects" that. That is not the language of a diplomat, it is the language of a dictate. God help us all.

Wrong.
As soon as those Tomahawk's left the USS Abraham Lincoln (I think?) we were officially at war.
Saddam and his advisors become legit enemy combatants, making it perfectly legal to kill them.
