Dunno if these have been posted before..........pictures of the space shuttle exploding as it passed an Israeli satellite.....

I can't believe when with war America has explosions so many places even in space!!!! And why Isreal get such good pictures that look right out a movie like Armegedon but only real! Maybe America should see picture like those and say "may Iraq not so bad and we should get better airplanes instead!"
I am not sure if that is a bad joke, or something to try and stir up the Jew-hater conspiracy theorists (were those pics circulated on the internet?) but those are really bad fakes.
If you had half a brain you would know the the space shuttle exploded after it had entered the earth's atmosphere, not in orbit in space.

I have a life, but it's french-canadian, so no so good. And just cause pictures are real like Armegedon dont mean that they not real, too!
These were going around work in email last week. They're actually screen captures from the movie Armageddon.

Those pics are completely fake. For one thing (as Vekril said) the shuttle was in atmosphere at time of the 'event'. For another, the shuttle does not orbit the earth in that orientation. The shuttle dorsal faces earth, not outer space, so the tiles with the greatest insulation characteristics are facing the sun.
Whoever manufactured those photos assumed they would be seen by the same audience that thought the Armageddon (sp?) movie scenario was feasible.

There is nothing wrong with the situation behind the movie Armageddon. If it came to something like that, honestly, what would you rather have up there saving you? The group of veteran oil drillers that have heart and courage? Or the stuffy old astronauts that don't care about earth. It's pretty clear cut to me.
Oil Drillers < Astronauts.
EDIT- Now it makes sense. I hope I'm happy, and it makes sense to me so I don't start an argument with myself again.

lol, i dont think you can have explosions like that in space. You need to have air for those explosions. And yes, the news footage showed the shuttle clearly in the atmosphere already.
