Shards of Dalaya is a Everquest Emulation, but it is totally different from Everquest live, It has custom content, that I personally have enjoyed, and it is very easy to start playing, the only thing you need to have purchased is the Everquest CD's and have the game patched up to LDoN. The custom content is AMAZING! The low level stuff starts off a bit slow, but its a nice way to ease someone into the world, and then it builds up to large scale quests that involve raid forces! They have progressive quests and one shot quests, custom monsters and zones that are from live but have different content than live, lots of zones have different levels than live and new monsters and encounters. It has a player base of around 250+ and is constantly looking for more players, there are several guilds and I can tell you from personal experiance that the player base is very nice and helpful!
