What do you think my first character in VG should be? I was thinking about Shaman in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, but I was told that this is just too high for somebody who is just starting this game. I am inexperienced, but very prepared to learn anything that is necessary to make my way in this game as shaman.

I think that the good will is most important in this game and in all games when we talk about new beginning. I don’t share the opinion that shaman is too complicated for you or any other newbie. I would go for it and you should be prepared to learn a lot more then you did so far. First of all you should look at the stats list and you will be able to find many useful info on there. If you have some problem with reading it you can always come back and somebody will help you out with this.

Definitely go for it.
Shaman is one of the most intersting classes so far (I've played ons since the start of Beta).
You will start off slow, and have a bit of trouble leveling from 8-15, but once you hit 15 and get to pick your totem your soloability increases greatly.
