So has anyone started playing this on non-beta servers yet? Still waiting for my copy.
And I swear I can't figure out all the classes and disciplines and runestones and GMing stuff - is there a good tutorial or something someplace so I don't gimp myself?

Created a char on Dread last night (named sinrakin, not much point in changing I guess). Not sure if anyone else is playing. I'm pretty sure he's already gimped at level 4 (shade mage -> warlock), so I'll probably remake him 
So far it's pretty f*****g easy. I just stand there and blast the crap out of snakes and ants and shit and they die instantly. I've barely even gotten scratched. And groups are huge, but nobody really talks in them. I'm not sure if people know how to use /g.
I hate the 3'rd person with a passion, but I'm trying to keep an open mind. Somebody tell me how the hell you're supposed to walk into a building for gods sake. The best I could come up with is this gimp ass technique where I spin the camera all the way up and look straight down through the roof of the building and control my guy that way, but I'm sure there must be a real way to do it. I'm not sure what would happen if I were in a 2 story building for instance.
Also it got a lot easier when I figure out how to get some of the windows to appear. Is there some reason the "selection" window isn't on by default? It's kind of hard to see how you could play without it. And I lost the group window and couldn't figure out how to get it back, until I was reading the manual and noticed it's enabled through the command bar (which I'd also lost) group option, not the windows option. Go figure.

Whats up sinrakin, actually i saw your name casting spells last night heh. My guys name is Ralac Shadowhawk, no change here either. Lvl 10 Elf Rogue-> Ranger at the moment.
As far as the windows go, hit "Escape" to get the main selection/options window back up. Then its pretty self explanitory from there to get the rest of the windows.
My best friend and I are enjoying the game so far, i just can't wait to start PvPin...

Hey Ralac, I'll watch for you. You can PL me j/k Is there a good level 5-10 area near there? Grobolds or something?
I'm looking forward to pvp too. Although currently I'm working on more basic stuff, like how not to fall in the water and drown at night lol. Although I figured out how to get the map to come up, so that should help.
Am I right about groups: when you're in a group, you get full exp for everything killed by the group? It's not divided by the number of ppl in the group? That's sort of insane, but I was leveling pretty fast in groups - only played for about two hours.

Wow, you can level up pretty fast in this game. I seem to be getting about a level every half hour, at 12 (mage warlock) now. When does it slow down?

So here's my current impressions:
- omg I still hate the camera. Just trying to walk into a building, go up some stairs and click on a trainer, I feel like I'm trying to get Super Mario to the next level or some shit. Could it be any more awkward? And I'd like to nuke an incoming mob, then take a couple steps back so the tanks can hit it? I don't think so, that's almost impossible to do without running 20 yards into the trees or some crazy shit. And the fact that rooms look empty from 5 feet away, then people appear when you step through the door is annoying.
- And how f*****g lame is it that your group members loot your corpse when you die? People seem to just expect that. I've only even heard one person even complain about it.
Other than that it's pretty fun

It does actually slow down a bit once you get up there and start getting hassled from roaming guilds looking for people to kill.
I am 36 now with 124 training points..no armor and no money.We been master looting to work on our city.WP made it so that once you place the ToL and buildings it now takes 12 hrs for them to fully mature.Be glad when we actually get walls up around the ToL.Tho we got our ToL/Runemaster/Inn/Church and banker up already,and working on forge.
All in all it is not to bad.I keep disconnecting for some reason and PvP is not to bad.Been in a few sqirmishes now,kindda hard to PK as a prelate when you havent trained skills in 8 lvls or so.

i went from 22 - 34 today it does slow down some but 8 hours of playin got me that ez so its never bad, ya havin to master loot for trees is kinda gay but thats the price for being good..
Creslin in Rollin' 30s on Scorn server is my char ;p

oh btw for you guys on Dread watch out for a little thief named Scruz. He was in our group at the Cyclops, waited till the main tank died, then pulled two named at once on us (he wasn't the puller), and when all but the one or two people who didn't get aggro died, he looted the corpses of everyone who died and took off, while they were yelling at him to leave the graves alone.
I intend to kill him several times in the future, but in the meantime you might watch out for him.

wtf...either I don't know where to look for mobs, or my shadowbane is broked. I no can find them...
They disappear and don't come back...i ran around for hours looking for the little f*****s.

I had the same problem Sab, had problemes finding places to hunt lol
what SUCK is that its very easy to KS..just to the finishing blow and you get the exp.

At least at low levels, there's no reason to kill steal. You get the same amount of exp for each mob the group kills as if you killed it yourself. You get more gold I guess, but gold's pretty easy to get too. Why make enemies who'll pk you later?

No you dont..When you group the amount of exp you get will decline.The more people in the group the less overall exp you get but exp rolls in faster.It used to be that way but they seemed to have changed it.Me and my roommate can kill something get a set amount of exp and then grab a full group and kill the same mob at the same lvl..the exp will not be the same amount as when my roommate and myself killed it.Even at the lower lvls.

Hmm ok, everybody kept seems to think it's still that way, but maybe they cut down the group exp a bit. It still rolls in like 5 times faster in a group though, and people just automatically invite you - I've almost never had to even ask.
For ppl having trouble finding mobs under level 20, this map is pretty good, wish I'd found it earlier:

yea even with the decline in exp the bigger the group,you can hunt mobs faster and hunt mobs with a higher exp total to compensate for the group.With the group just inviting everyone...that is nice,everyone plays a role in one way or another and there is no alienating of a certian class.

Yep so far the people in SB are like...100 times better then those in EQ,
Very easy to get in a group you just need to push the accept buttom.
Its funny, people there can ninja, loot your body anytime they want and yet ive found most of my bodies so far with all my stuffs.
its cool to play a game were you cant cry to a GM about stuff like : He looted my body!!! He KS my mob!!!! He wont share the money!!! cause its part of the game.

I dont know if any of you have had the chance yet but another major awesome feature in this game is the recorder, it lets you view what was recorded in game and you can actually walk around as the person who recorded it and see what happened in a battle for example.. the only down side is you have to have the game to watch them.
