Anyone playing it? How is it?
Bad as everyone thought it would be?
Just curious!

On a scale of 1-10:
grouping - 8
pve - 8
equipment - 8
pvp - don't know yet
guilds/cities/crafting 8 (damn that's a lot of 8s)
spells - 7
graphics - 6
movement/camera view - minus 30

Are you skilled mage or a hardboiled warrior in search for most suitable guild to join?
Or if you're already guild member ready to share some real PvP experience…

I am, I like it. PvE isn't as good as EQ. I don't know how PvP works just yet. It's a mixture of DAoC, D2, and mostly Dungeon Siege. I personally have no problems with camera or movement, but then again I lovvvvvvveeee diablo 2. The game is much lighter on the whole loot and exp aspect... but it's still serious, It's like a mmorpg for real people, still need to put in some time, but we aren't talking a year to max lvl. Some people don't like the graphics... I dunno, I like them, it's not that they aren't as good, it's just that it's all so dark and gothic, it adds a gritty feel to the game. Overall, the game is great but lacks polish. It's not re-defining, but it's pretty f*****g good. PvP is what decides how long that lasts though.

Playing a level 10 thief on Dread now. Movement isn't too bad once you get used to it, took me about 15 minutes to get the hang of it.
It's like dungeon siege with more people.
The only thing that annoys me are no resurection spells, and mob placement sucks.
Having to run for 30 minutes to get xp isn't good.

ya the res spells come later in the form of a more useful summon spell though... it actuall turns out to be a heck of alot better than EQ style rezs since you dont need a corpse to do it on... all healer base classes get it.. its like a game wide call of the hero.
Mob placement is the biggest thing newbies complain about cause its hard to get used to all the open space.. talk to the runemaster they can tell ya directions on where to hunt also..
