I am not asking weather it is legal or not, as that is clearly stated in each states laws. I am asking if you feel that it is right?
No I'm not talking about an 18 year old having **** with a 16 year old. (although the way it is worded I guess I left that open) I am talking about an adult...which we all know 1 in 1000 18 year olds is not. Hell 1 in 1000 22 year olds often is not, but at least they have some responsibilities by then.
I'm saying would you see a 22, 23, or 24 year old dating a 16 year old as right? Or perhaps older...maybe a 29 year old dating a 16 year old? How about an 18 year old with a 14 year old, I mean that's only a 4 year differance, right?? (this happens way to often)
This doesn't have anything to do with laws really, just your personal opinions.

Because US individual states are soverign entities, the UNITED States only exists due to the will of the states in forming a union. Each state does not have to answer to the others for its internal business.

This poll also doesn't distinguish between ****.
**** or not, imo, there is a difference between say a 28 year old man having (even consentual) **** with a 16 year old girl, than say a 28 year old hot blonde school teacher having **** with one of her 16 year old male students.
I also agree with some of the comments on here differing a 12 year old (many females haven't even had their first period yet) and a 16 year old.

Upon the adoption of the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union, the states became a single sovereign political entity as defined by international law, empowered to levy war and to conduct international relations, albeit with a very loosely structured and inefficient central government. After the failure of the union under the Articles of Confederation, the thirteen states joined the modern union via ratification of the United States Constitution, beginning in 1789.
Notice it says STATES. Plural. Not each state dumbshit. Continued:
The Constitution is silent on the issue of the secession of a state from the union. The Articles of Confederation had stated that the earlier union of the colonies "shall be perpetual", and the preamble to the Constitution states that Constitution was intended to "form a more perfect union". In 1860 and 1861, several states attempted to secede, but were brought back into the Union by force of arms during the Civil War. Subsequently, the federal judicial system, in the case of Texas v. White, established that states do not have the right to secede without the consent of the other states.
Notice the last sentence. A state cannot secede without the other states consent. That's not sovreignty.
